BUILD TRUST

BE reliable. BE professional. BE responsible.

At Home Instead, we strive to provide the highest quality care to all of our clients. By keeping appropriate boundaries and following company policies, we set ourselves up for success with every shift.

Our clients and their families are counting on us to be there when they need us most. Please follow the attendance policy described in your Caregiver Handbook. If you need to call off, do it as soon as possible to give the office time to cover your shift. And be sure to call us…we answer 24/7, so don’t rely on a text or email, especially in an emergency.

This CAREGiver Portal allows you to view your schedule along with client information at any time of day. Knowing your schedule and being there on a regular basis, whenever you’re assigned, is an important part of building trust.

TAKE THE LEAD

BE empowered. BE involved. BE Confident.

We offer training classes that will help you gain the skills and knowledge necessary to become the best CAREGiver you can be.

In addition, our page of CAREGiver Resources gives you information on different chronic conditions as well as helpful "How-To's" right at your fingertips.

We encourage you to further your education in any way you can, and will flex your hours whenever possible to work around in-house workshops and outside classes.

SHARE YOUR HEART

BE compassionate. BE thoughtful. BE yourself.

You make a difference in the lives of your clients every day. Your dedication, compassion and patience allow you to care for others in a very special way.

By listening to your clients and understanding their needs and concerns, you can help them feel acknowledged and cared for.

By the same token, we want you to know that you are heard and supported. We are available 24/7 by phone, and our team page can help direct you to the person you need when a question or concern arises.

In addition, our monthly newsletters keep you updated with policy reminders, upcoming events and caregiver information. Please read it, and feel free to send us feedback!
